What is NIASZIIH Healing?

The NIASZIIH healing philosophy is an Earth-based lineage passed down from elder, scout, and shaman Stalking Wolf and taught through the school, WildernessFusion.

At its essence, NIASZIIH is defined as the healer becoming and literally creating

“The Place of Healing”

—a place where the client, the healer, and the Earth come into relationship in a moment we recognize as the Forever Now.

NIASZIIH is centered around one simple, yet profound question…

How do we make the choices we make and how are those choices influencing everything that happens in our lives?

When you come to a healing session, the healer helps you build awareness. Through this awareness you begin to understand yourself more deeply - where your limitations are, the patterns created from your beliefs, the choices you make, and ultimately, how those choices shape your life. As awareness grows, another question naturally begins to emerge:

“Is this belief and subsequent pattern helping me create more depth in relationship with myself, with others, with nature, and with Creation… or is it pulling me further away?”

As we begin to ask this question honestly, we start to see ourselves and our experiences through a different lens. We discover that our wounds are the source and doorway of our greatest gifts, and that the patterns we once believed were keeping us stuck may instead be pointing us toward new possibilities. From that place, we become free to make different choices and move toward what we truly desire, creating more space for peace, love, joy, and purpose.

How do we Heal through awareness?

So, yeah, how do we make the choices we make?

At first, that might seem like an odd place to begin but if you pause for a moment… How do you decide when to rest? When to trust yourself? When to trust others? When to ask for help? How do you decide what to eat? When to eat? Or whether you're "doing enough?" Most of us aren't making these choices consciously. We're making them through beliefs we've carried for years.

Beliefs like:

  • I have to earn rest.

  • I'll finally be enough when...

  • If I don't hold everything together, everything will fall apart.

  • I can't trust my body.

  • If I just had enough willpower I would finally change.

These beliefs quietly shape the way we move through all of our relationships. i.e. work, family, food, our bodies, and even our healing.

Many of these beliefs once protected us but oftentimes the very beliefs that helped us survive are the ones now keeping us from truly living.

What will a session look like?

Every session begins with conversation.

We'll explore what brought you here, what you'd like support with, and what illnesses (if any) you are currently struggling with.

From there, I may use questions, consensual touch and bodywork (if that feels ok), somatic awareness, and Earth-based practices and analogies to help you notice patterns and beliefs that may have been stuck or unnoticed before.

I don't believe healing is about becoming someone you once were, or becoming someone new, or about forgetting or diminishing what happened. I also don’t believe it requires pushing ourselves to have this unrealistic ideal or expectation of ourselves.

I believe it's about remembering the relationship you were always meant to have - with yourself, with others, and with the living world.

If you're longing for a different relationship with yourself, your body, the people around you, the Earth, and/or your life...

I'd be honored to walk alongside you as your healer.

Why I blend this work with Intuitive Eating

As I continued healing, I simultaneously became a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. What surprised me was how naturally these two philosophies belonged together.

Because food was never just about food.

Just like with chronic illness, it is rarely just about symptoms.

They are often invitations.

Doorways into understanding ourselves more deeply.

Today, I blend intuitive eating nutrition, somatic practices, and NIASZIIH healing because together they move beyond simply managing behaviors and symptoms.

Together I saw they help rebuild trust, awareness, and how/where we move and make choice in relationships from in this world. That’s when healing starts to happen - when we can transcend the path that got us here and step forward onto the path that was meant for us.
